What	IICRC Certification In 1972, the International Institute of Carpet & Upholstery Certification was established to provide a means by which a professional carpet, drapery, and upholstery cleaner could become "CERTIFIED". Today, the IICRC is a testing and certification body owned by the cleaning industry's regional and national trade association who subscribe to the high standards of professionalism, technical knowledge and skill. The IICRC has became universally accepted as the objective certifying body for those reaching levels of proficiency in the industry. IICRC Certification is available with these schools. There is an optional exam that will be given immediately following instruction. A separate payment of $50.00 (test administration fee, IICRC dues) payable to the IICRC will be due to the instructor at the time of the test
