INK(BALL POINT)

STAIN: Can be any color, usually blue or black, absorbed
CONTAINS: Basic or soluble aniline dyes, insoluble organic solvents, oils, resins, gums, binding agents such as shellac, varnish or petroleum

1. Apply INK SPOT REMOVER, blot.
Note if dye is readily released. If so, this indicates a solvent soluble dye.
2. Repeat as needed. BLOT! do not rub, to avoid spreading spot.
3. If stain persists, apply CITRUS GEL.
4. Apply OXY-PLUS at 1oz per quart of water, if needed.
5. Rinse thoroughly with water and blot until dry.
Note: All inks are not the same. Different approaches may have to be evaluated. Try GREASE procedure or INK(INDIA) procedure. Some inks may be permanent.
On upholstery: place a white towel under fabrics if possible so that removal can occur in both directions. This also avoids spreading ink to padding or cushions under upholstery.
